Backups

The panel backs up your company's data automatically. Under Admin › Backups you can follow and check it.

#If the server is lost

Every copy is encrypted before it leaves the server, and the password that opens it is kept outside the server too: whoever runs your environment keeps a copy, refreshed with every panel version, and with Google Drive connected each backup leaves another in a separate vault that no server can see or delete. You don't need to keep any password: if the server is lost, support restores the copies on a new server.

#Schedule and retention

The screen shows when each backup runs, where it goes and how long copies are kept. The latest copy shows with its date, size and whether it finished well.

#Back up now

Before a big change, like importing thousands of contacts, select Back up now.

#Test a restore

Test restore recovers a copy in a separate environment and checks the data comes back whole. Nothing changes in the live panel.
